Why work at Vatu?
We are a small but passionate team, dedicated to building the best WordPress experiences for our clients.
We work exclusively with WordPress, using our own project and hosting stack developed over the last 10 years. We build at the cutting edge, using the latest features available in WordPress, including Full Site Editing, the Block Bindings API, Interactivity API, ReactJS custom blocks, and more. Our goal is to provide technical excellence to the clients we work with. We take on big, complex projects, and deliver them to an incredibly high standard.
Our work environment is supportive, collaborative, and relaxed. Each member of our team is treated as an equal, and everyone benefits from the same perks of working within the company – including our 4 day work week.
We work with clients from all industries, including design agencies, manufacturers, exhibition organisers, and medical organisations. We’re particularly proud of our work with some inspiring UK-based charities fighting for refugees rights, tackling the climate emergency, or supporting disadvantaged young people through to adulthood.
Our application process is short:
- Apply via the form below
- If your application matches what we’re looking for, we’ll arrange a Zoom interview with our MD, Darren Pinder
- If that goes well, and we both think we’re a good fit for each other, then we’ll arrange a second interview with Darren and our Technical Lead, Mike Bragg
- And if that goes well, you’re in!
As part of the application process, we won’t ask you to do homework, coding challenges, or string you along.
We welcome applications from all backgrounds and are committed to maintaining an inclusive workplace where every team member feels valued.
